Astonishing Footage Captures The Moment An Airbus A380 Flew UNDERNEATH A Helicopter

A video has captured the terrifying moment that a gigantic Airbus A380 almost collided with a helicopter after flying underneath it.

Posted on YouTube by user Richard Khan Jr, the video shows a passenger recording the A380 approaching from a distance only to discover that it would pass just feet from the helicopter by flying underneath.

As the world's biggest airliner - the Airbus A380 weighs 577 tonnes, equivalent to 48 double decker buses, a fact that would have become horrifically clear had the two aircraft been any closer.

Near misses between aircraft and drones have become increasingly likely however a near-miss of this kind between a plane and a helicopter are almost unheard of.
