That's the line that Bloomingdale's decided to go with in a new catalogue advert which has created something of an internet shit storm.
The US department store has received a huge backlash for the inappropriate advert which has been accused of promoting "date rape".
Some festive date rape humour from @Bloomingdales' Christmas ad campaign pic.twitter.com/0AYDvuytfG
— Siobhan Fenton (@SiobhanFenton) November 11, 2015The advert stars a woman who is dressed in Rebecca Minkoff evening-wear. Stood next to her is a male "friend" who happens to be looking at her in a bit of a creepy manner.
The text between them reads: "Spike your best friend's eggnog when they're not looking." Nice.
Bloomingdale's has since apologised for the shocking advert, which can't be pulled because it's in print.
A spokesperson for the company said: "In reflection of recent feedback, the copy we used in our recent catalog was inappropriate and in poor taste. Bloomingdale’s sincerely apologises for this error in judgement."
Apology or no apology, the people of Twitter still had something to say about it...
